Tahitian Pearl Jewelry
January 26th, 2008

Like nearly all pearls found in modern jewelry, Tahitian pearls are cultured — that means they are grown intentionally by humans. The pearls are called black, but their color can actually vary from a silvery metallic to a dark graphite, often with undertones of other colors, including purple and blue. Large Tahitian pearls make an impact on their own — no extra decor is needed — but look at this jewelry and you’ll see that the sparkle of an occasional diamond works perfectly with them.
